Sales Representative
Green Acres Nursery Inc. is a fast growing plant nursery offering quality products and services to landscapers and home owners. We also offer plant sales to mass merchandisers and independent garden centers. This is a ground level opportunity for an individual who is self-directed, motivated, reliable and has a high level of integrity. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– 3+ years sales manager, inside/outside sales, client service, account manager or plant broker experience
– Friendly positive personality and neat appearance
– Basic math skills
– Bilingual English and Spanish
– Familiar with plants, horticulture, landscape designs
– Computer skills with MS office, internet
– Highly organized and detail oriented
– Ability to keep track of pending sales
– Liaison between clients, office and shipping/receiving to provide quality customer service
– Team player
– Excellent communication skills
– Relationship building for repeat business, resolving any client issues
– Answer calls, respond to request for quotes
– Place outgoing calls to develop and search for new customers
– Review quality and quantity of order
– Represent the product line at trade shows
– Provide sales presentations, product knowledge and recommendations
– Sell and assist customers in nursery yards
– Valid California driver’s license required with clean record
– Non-smoking
Miscellaneous Information: Job entails working in a farming environment. Candidates must be free from any physical limitation that would not allow them to bend, lift, and work in the heat, cold, and humidity of outdoor workplace.

Landscape Manager
We are seeking a Landscape Manager to service our new residential accounts. Hands-on skills in landscape installation including site planning, and installation of plants and irrigation. Green Acres Nursery Inc. is a fast growing plant nursery offering quality products and services to landscapers and home owners. Candidate must have experience with plants, irrigation, drainage, soil and fertilization requirements. Must be mature and articulate and have great hands-on skills in a wide range of landscape designs. Excellent customer service skills are a must. This is a ground level opportunity for an individual who is self-directed, motivated, reliable and have a high level of integrity. If you have a passion for plants, landscape designs, love working with people and enjoy landscaping, this is the job for you.

Degree or equivalent experience required. Job duties will include:
– Project planning
– Project layout and site analysis
– Bidding jobs
– Supervising installation crew
– Installation of irrigation systems
– Plant selection and installation
– Work with clients on all aspects of a project/ job
– Order materials for projects
– Sales experience and a willingness to seek out new business
– Friendly positive personality and neat appearance
– Organized and detail oriented
– Bilingual English and Spanish
– Familiar with plants, horticulture, landscape designs
– Computer skills with MS office, internet
– Valid California driver’s license required with clean record

– Track record of completing projects on time and within budget
